Western Southern Tier Building Officials (WSTBO) is the association of professionals working together to promote properly built residential and commercial structures, uniform enforcement of uniform codes, and to provide educational programs on codes and code enforcement in the southwesterly region of New York State.  WSTBO’s mission is to enhance leadership and consistency in the understanding, application, and enforcement of building codes and zoning codes – so that the residents in and near Chautauqua County enjoy safe and thriving communities.

        Regular business is conducted at lunchtime meetings on the second Thursday of every month, alternating between the Fredonia and Jamestown areas.  Education programs, usually for CEUs, are scheduled around regular meetings or at special evening meetings.  Contact WSTBO Treasurer Allan L.         WSTBO is the region's affiliated member of NYSBOC and ICC, the New York State Building Officials' Conference and the International Code Council.
