WSTBO promotes codes at Rotary home and garden show

        Larry Barter, John Monaco, and Paul Bowers (shown above) were three of ten WSTBO members who promoted codes and code enforcement at the Rotary Home and Garden Show at the county fairgrounds May 9 through May 11.  The Village of Fredonia shared its resources on Building Safety Week.  Articles about WSTBO and Buidling Safety Week were in the Observer and the Post-Journal.  Larry made this happen -- please send him thanks on behalf of all of us at WSTBO.  Excellent public service and excellent public relations.  Thanks to all who participated!

        By the way, according to an ICC publication handed out by WSTBO, building codes are ancient.  What and when was the Code of Hammurabi?  What was the penalty in the Code of Hammurabi against a builder who built a structure that later collapsed and killed an occupant?
