Please go to the Code Forum on this site to start a discussion thread on the specific items you mention on building green with tan straw, etc., (all great ideas to do and to discuss!). The State Building Code can be purchased at www.icbo.com and there should be a link on the State Codes Division (Department of State) website to view it. Again, thanks, and we will attend to your good ideas.

Why don't you put a link to the actual building codes of NY state and/or our County. With all the stress towards building green, it would be great to have opinions and codes about using other forms of building ie., straw bales, cordwood etc.
